This heirloom art journal collection was inspired by my desire to make journals for fairies! whimsical, sparkly, playful, raw and beautiful. fairies are deeply connected with nature, which is why I decided to embroider flora-inspired designs on the cover and along the spine. All hand embroidery is my own, and was stitched over vintage laces, antique hemp and plant-dyed textiles.
 
Each journal has two signatures and 68 pages. I have added pockets and tuck spots full of texture onto many of the pages. Pages are made from avocado and tea dyed papers which have little spatters of gold paint, along with my own eco-dyed papers and sheet music.
 
Inside the front cover I have sewn a textile pocket for tucking away your magical treasures. The journal is lined with avocado dyed muslin which I have also spattered with gold paint.
 
I have included some extra paper goodness in these journals, and some pages have been minimally decorated with paper collage.
 
This journal in particular measures 7.5" x 5" with a 1.5" spine. The cover features floral embroidery over the top of antique hemp. The spine has woven-wheel roses running up and down, along with sequins and dainty leaves
 
Once purchased, these journals will be packaged in boxes to keep them safe during their travels to you.
